Consciously or not, we all make resolutions each year. They might be small. They might be life-changing. But they’re there.
Goals are great because they inspire us to make the kinds of changes that we need in our life. Whether your goal is to read more, get healthy, be more financially responsible, improve your marriage, serve more, or be more spiritual, you can achieve it if you believe it.
Rather than being stuck all year in the initial stages of “believing,” step out of your comfort zone and start DOING the things that will bring change. Write your goals down, refer to them daily, set daily/weekly goals to help you progress, and celebrate your successes. Small actions do add up to big change!
Seven Step Formula for Reaching Your Goals In 2018
1- Fix in your mind the exact results you want to achieve- see it, feel it and believe it
2- Determine what it is you are willing to give (do) in return for achieving your goal
3- Set a date to process what you desire
4- Create a plan that will take me to that step
5- Write out a concise written statement, Ex: I am going to lose 5% body fat by March 5th and will do that by doing this (your plan) …
6 – Must have the state of mind that I already have it- see it, feel it and believe it while worked up into a white heat of desire. Once in that state do step 7
7- Read this statement twice a day once before sleep and once in the morning upon rising.
Celebrate reaching your goal (s) and remember goals put wings to your desires!
