What Is Cranial Facial Release?
The objective of the Cranial Facial Release (CFR) technique is to mobilize the bones in the face and cranium to open up the breathing passageways. This is commonly used on patients experiencing breathing disorders, sinus conditions, or more commonly, snoring problems.
Cranial Facial Release is an advanced endonasal cranial technique that has been used quite successfully in the treatment of various neurological and structural disorders. Most patients who come in for CFR treatment are often last resort patients who have tried everything else first. CFR often succeeds where other forms of conventional treatment have failed. CFR is the best alternative solution and the most sought out modality for sinus and deviated septum surgeries.
How Is Cranial Facial Release Performed?
The Cranial Facial Release technique is performed by inserting tiny balloons in the nose then quickly inflating them to mobilize the bones of the face and cranium. It feels very similar to the sensation experienced when jumping into a swimming pool and having water shoot up your nose. The whole procedure takes about 2 to 3 seconds and consists of a series of 4-6 treatments in a 7-10 day period.

This often improves symptoms related to various structural and neurological disorders. Read reviews from our patients about Cranial Facial Release.

Dr. MacCarthy introduced me to network chiropractic and it has been incredible. I don’t suffer from the chronic back pain that I did in the past. After some noise complaints about snoring, she introduced me to Cranial Facial Release, which has been a definite help. If she can’t help you with some facet of your health, she can definitely direct you to someone who can. I recommend seeking her out for a discussion about your personal health and fitness goals.Chris W.
